Q: I am in the process of buying a house. The paper work is going on. This particular house got extended kitchen but they have no paper work. My solicitor who is dealing the case is trying to convince me that is not a problem as it was done long ago( more than 20 years). According to him anything beyond 20 years is not a problem. I am really worried, I need a second opinion please....

Do you think think this will cause trouble in the future if I go ahead with the purchase?

Please advice me....... your advice will be highly appreciated...

Thanking you in advance.

Regards,

Mrs Sunny

A: Since you already have legal representation (i.e. solicitor acting in your house purchase) I cannot give any response to your enquiry. Please note that I cannot give any comment because of the Law Society (SRA) regulations.
